Cyberpunk 2077 has had a tough ride, with many players demanding refunds and among a lot of uproar on the several identified Glitches, some of which made the game downright unplayable, Cd projekt red announced that the Cyberpunk 2077 1.07 patch updates will soon be available. Okay so those who are still new to the sprawling night city here is a little background for you Cyberpunk 2077 is an immersive role-playing game from CD Projekt Red. The game is easily the most hyped game the world has seen in a long time. The title was initially announced by the Polish studio CD Project Red in 2102.

Since then the game developers dropped several impressive teasers, buy-ins, etc. And it has been the most anticipated title of the year, if not the century.
- But as it turned out The massive open-world, action-adventure story of the game was marred by the several bugs and glitches
- Ever since the game launched, there had been a stream of viral videos featuring a hoard of glitches and bugs, with many people demanding refunds. Sony even agreed to roll back and refunds were done to the Playstation players.
- Cd projekt has apologised for the glitches and assured the players that the bugs and glitches will all be resolved with the subsequent updates.
It announced that January and February patches will be aimed at fixing performance on those platforms.
Cyberpunk 2077 1.07 patch updates
Looking at the past trend of the patches, all of them were released on fridays. But since this friday would be January the first, the release date can be pushed a day or two forward.
But looking at how severe the issues are, it’s for sure CD projekt red would be working overtime. We can surely expect the patch to be dropped in the first week of january 2021.
Details 1.07 patch updates
Cd projekt red has not released any official patch notes as yet.
Looking at the past updates i.e, 1.05 and 1.06 we saw a variety of updates such as fixing an issue preventing players from landing the helicopter in Love like Fire to improving the reaction times of NPCs taking cover.

Looking at this post it becomes quite clear that the update 1.07 will be focussed on fixing the issues in Xbox One and PS4 base consoles.
It was earlier announced that the game will be getting next-gen enhancements but, there’s a very good chance now that these enhancements would be paused for now until all the issues in the existing console versions are sorted.
The update size is also expected to be well over 10 gb looking at the past updates, so keep up your bandwidth and good luck with the new patch!!!
